Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 April 2021, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to ensure targeted and effective use of subsidies, scholarships, pensions and other payments to unemployed citizens at the expense of public funds" was published.
According to the resolution, from 1 May 2021, in a number of cities and regions of the country on a pilot basis, subsidies, scholarships, pensions and other payments from the state budget will be allocated to unemployed persons, including those listed in the "Iron", "Women’s" and "Youth" notebooks.
The practice of concluding a social contract between unemployed persons and local labor authorities (employment promotion centers) will be introduced, which determines the social responsibility of the parties in relation to the targeted use of the allocated funds.
The document approved the Temporary Regulation on the procedure for concluding social contracts with the unemployed population receiving subsidies, scholarships, pensions and other payments from public funds.
By 1 July 2021, the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations will develop a "personal profile" in the Employment Service information system, which will indicate the full name, age, gender, place of residence, education of persons who have entered into a social contract, as well as the type, size, timing of the allocated subsidies, grants, pensions, allowances and other payments, as well as the results of monitoring compliance with the terms of the contract.
