Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Gayane Umerova, head of Uzbekistan’s Art and Culture Development Foundation, met with representatives of the ALIPH Foundation, an international organization dedicated to protecting cultural heritage.
The meeting included ALIPH’s Executive Director Valéry Freland and the foundation’s Council Chairperson Bariza Khiari, who also serves as the Special Representative of French President Emmanuel Macron for cultural cooperation.
Discussions focused on potential collaboration in the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage sites and developing programs to preserve intangible cultural heritage.
Special attention was given to joint initiatives for the Aral Cultural Summit, aimed at protecting the region’s cultural heritage and ecosystem.
