Alexander Sorvachev was born in Nizhny Novgorod in 1968. In 1992 he graduated from the Economics Faculty of the State University of Nizhny Novgorod with a specialization in Planning industry. Under upgrade qualifications in different years Alexander was trained in economics, finance, management and leadership, participated in corporate training programs Ernst & Young Academy of Business, as well as the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo. In 2012 he received a degree Executive MBA of Stockholm School of Economics.

From 1997 Alexander held several senior positions in companies of financial and energy industries. In 2004 he began his career in telecommunication sector that until the end of 2013 was developed within the system of companies of the Group Mobile TeleSystems. During this time Alexander has run the gamut from Head of Planning and Analysis Department of the macro-region Volga region North-West to the director of the department of controlling the business unit MTS Foreign Companies, having worked in Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Kiev and Moscow.

Among the key achievements of Alexander for the given period — increasing internal transparency, ensuring the effectiveness of commercial, technological and operational controlling, improving the efficiency of business processes of planning and forecasting, high level of analytical support of business at the hands of finance function.

Since January 2014 Alexander moved to the position of the finance director of Nizhny Novgorod Cellular Communication CJSC where he participated in the preparation and implementation of the first phase of the transaction by the integration of mobile assets of Rostelecom OJSC and Tele2.

On 24 June, Alexander Sorvachev took the lead of the Finance Department of Beeline in Uzbekistan.
