Aleksey Velts to head Beeline’s administrative directorate
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Largest communications operator Beeline appointed Aleksey Velts to the post of administrative director of Unitel.

Unitel CEO Dmitry Shukov said: “Aleksey has a great practical experience and unique expertise accumulated in different countries during his career. He is well versed in the peculiarities of the telecom market in Central Asia, and I am sure that his professional and managerial capacity will be needed in the new position based on the ambitious goals of Beeline in Uzbekistan”.

In his new position before Aleksey Velts will deal with issues related to property management of the company to reduce costs and optimize a number of business processes.

“In recent years the company has achieved impressive results, taking the leading position in the market of the republic, and I am happy to join the team of Beeline. Large-scale capital expenditure, developed branch network and a lot of logistics chains require serious attention of the administrative management, the introduction of new procedures and efficiency improve,” - Aleksey Velts said.

Aleksey Velts was born on 19 September 1969 in Sverdlovsk region of Russia. In 1990 he graduated from the Poltava Higher Military School of communication with degree in the telecommunication equipment engineering. In 2009 he took a refresher course in "The strategy of sales and service".

Career of Aleksey in the telecommunications sector began in 2006, when he joined the marketing team of Mobile TeleSystems as a project manager. During a year of work on the development of promising sales projects areas he successfully carried out the implementation of SIM-cards in airports and receive payments on RFID technology in public transport in Moscow.

In November 2007, Aleksey Velts took the post of Deputy General Director of MTS in Turkmenistan, where his responsibilities included managing of administrative unit, the regional branches, participation in business planning, as well as searching and implementation of alternative sales channels.

From 2011 to 2013 he headed the department of project management in the field of transport monitoring of LLC RusAvto - division of "Rostelecom" corporation. From 2013 to 2015 he worked as administrative director of MTS India, where has made significant progress in the optimization of G & A costs, restructuring of the administrative unit and company’s property management.

He speaks English. He is married and has three sons.
