Serge Rocher will replace Victor Pilipyuka at this post , who headed business of Alcatel-Lucent in Uzbekistan from 2001-2011.

Victor Pilipyuka will continue his work at Alcatel-Lucent at the post of Advisory on strategic projects of the company in the Central Asian region, using his reach experience with commercial enterprises and state establishments in this market.

Serge Rocher will be responsible for business management of Alcatel-Lucent in Uzbekistan and will head strategic direction of business development in the region, focusing on strategic industries of the economy.

Alcatel-Lucent has long history of cooperation with leading operators and large enterprises of Uzbekistan. The company contributes to modernization of network infrastructure of Uzbekistan.

Prior to appointment Serge Rocher was director for development of business, responsible for business activity of department for optic solutions of Alcatel-Lucent in Russia and the CIS, including wireless transport solutions.

Earlier (from 2004), he was regional director of TCL, joint enterprises of Alcatel, for Central Europe. He joined Alcatel in 1990 and worked in various positions in the company and its divisions.
