Albayrak Holding intends to expand its presence in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 10 November, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a meeting with the Coordinator of the Turkish company Albayrak Holding Erdal Nalbant.

Albayrak Holding was founded in 1952. The holding includes 127 companies, and the number of employees exceeds 15 thousand people. Implements projects in the fields of agriculture, waste processing, paper production, transport and logistics, mechanical engineering, infrastructure construction and others.

The parties reviewed the prospects for intensifying bilateral relations and further developing cooperation, bearing in mind the implementation of new projects in the areas of digitalization, infrastructure development and mechanical engineering.

The coordinator of Albayrak Holding highly appreciated the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan and the favorable investment climate created, which contributes to the growth of confidence in investment circles, and hence the volume of foreign direct investment, attraction of technological innovations, creation of new joint ventures and jobs.

The meeting noted the successful activity of the company in our country, which is a kind of beacon for Turkish investment and industrial circles in choosing a comfortable direction for investing capital and implementing mutually beneficial projects in the Central Asian region.

In particular, the progress of ongoing work within the framework of the project “Installation of automated photo and video devices for detecting traffic violations” in the cities of Uzbekistan was reviewed. The parties emphasized the need to take effective measures to ensure the timely commissioning of the system.

During the constructive exchange of views, practical measures were developed to speed up the implementation of ongoing projects and deadlines were outlined for the start of work on new agreements.
