Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Air Samarkand will launch of a new direct flight from Tashkent to Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. The inaugural flight took place on 22 September 2024, on a modern Airbus A321 aircraft.

The A321 from Air Samarkand is equipped with a business class cabin featuring 12 spacious seats that provide exceptional comfort. The economy class, with 182 seats, offers comfortable seating to ensure a pleasant journey for all passengers.

Al Ain is the fourth-largest city in the United Arab Emirates and serves as an important cultural hub, playing a key role in the country’s history. It is a true oasis in the desert, renowned for its green parks, fountains, and historical landmarks, such as Al Jahili Fort and the famous Al Ain Oasis. The Al Ain airport is conveniently located at equal distances from Abu Dhabi and Dubai (155 km and 130 km, respectively).

“We are thrilled to add another destination and a new country to our flight map. I am confident this route will become popular with both tourists and business travelers,” stated Air Samarkand’s General Director, Zafar Abdullaev.

The flights are being operated in partnership with the tour operator EasyBoking as part of a joint project with Rotana Jet. This exclusive package includes the flight, fast and convenient transfers, and top-tier accommodations at Rotana Hotels, renowned for their exceptional service and luxurious rooms. Initially, the flights will run once a week on Sundays:

- Departure from Tashkent: 10:40 AM, arrival in Al Ain: 1:20 PM (local time).

- Departure from Al Ain: 3:00 PM, arrival in Tashkent: 7:40 PM (local time).

As part of its route expansion, Air Samarkand plans to launch flights to Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) and Dubai International Airport (DXB) in the future, providing even more travel opportunities.
