Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Air Samarkand received its Airbus A321 aircraft (registration UK-32120) to Samarkand after undergoing extensive technical maintenance in the United Arab Emirates.
The maintenance included a thorough inspection and modernization of the aircraft’s systems, ensuring long-term reliability and safety of operations.
In conjunction with the maintenance, the aircraft received a new Certificate of Airworthiness No. CA 236 from the Civil Aviation Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This certificate confirms the aircraft's full readiness for safe operation in compliance with both international and national standards.
The cabin of the aircraft features 12 business class seats offering exceptional comfort, along with 182 economy class seats with a 31-32 inch seat pitch.
In the coming days, the aircraft will begin its regular flights, including a new Saturday service to Istanbul. Starting from September 14, Air Samarkand will operate three flights per week from Samarkand to Istanbul, with plans to increase flight frequency in the future. The airline’s general partner is EasyBooking.uz.
Air Samarkand continues to focus on improving its service quality and expanding its route network. The introduction of the Airbus A321 into the flight program represents a significant step in the company’s strategy to expand its international flight network and strengthen its position in the national aviation market.
