The airline will carry out two flights a week with help of Embraer E-190 aircrafts, which are produced in Brazil.

Currently, Air Astana conducts four regular flights from Almaty to Tashkent on Embraer E-190 and Airbus 320 aircrafts.

It is expected that Air Astana will receive two more Embraer E-190 aircrafts in April and July 2012, which will be used to transport passengers between Astana and Tashkent.

Besides, the Kazakh company this year plans to increase number of flights on Almaty-Tashkent-Almaty route to five times a week.

Currently, twelve flights are conducted between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan each week. Three airline fly between Tashkent and Almaty – Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (5 times), Air Astana (4 times) and Skat (one flight).

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari carries out two flights a week from Tashkent to Astana, capital of Kazakhstan.
