Uzbekistan claimed a 3-1 victory over Greece to advance to quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey. Uzbekistan will play against France in the quarterfinals of the FIFA U-20 World Cup. The match will be held in Rize on 6 July 2013. The match will kick off at 20:00 Tashkent time.

Ahmadjon Musaev said that before the tournament the minimal task of the team was to progress from group stage and reach quarterfinals. He said that after loss to Uruguay, the team was focused and advanced to quarterfinals after difficult game. He said that the team achieved its minimal goal.

Speaking about next opponent, Musaev underlined that there are no weak teams in this stage of the tournament. He added that only strong teams reach the World Cup.

Uzbekistan coach stated that his side now should carry out serious preparation to next match and show good performance.
