Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- For the period from January to April 2024, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Plant (AGMK) exported products worth US$177.7 million, the company’s press service reported.

During this period, 15,653 tons of copper products, 9,372 tons of zinc products and 242 tons of molybdenum products were exported.

In addition, the forecast figures for the export of rhenium (220%), cadmium (100.4%), copper sulfate (145.8%) and lead concentrate (113.3%) were achieved.

AGMK products are supplied to more than 20 countries. In 2023, new export markets for copper rod and copper sulfate were developed, such as the United States of America, Mexico and Finland.
