Aggregate capital of Uzpromstroybank grows up to 751bn soums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Joint stock commercial bank “Uzpromstroybank” increased its aggregate capital by 304 billion soums or 1.7 times in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same period of 2014 to 751 billion soums.

Growth of resource base allowed to increase the volume of credit investments and investments into real sector of economy.

As of 1 April 2015, the credit portfolio of Uzpromstroybank made up 6.231 trillon soums an increased by 1 trillion soums or 19% compared to the same period of 2014, the press service of the Uzbek bank said.

In the first quarter of 2015, the bank issued 502 billion soums of investment loans and the balance made up 5.253 trillion soums, which makes up 84% of total loan portfolio.

About 24 billion soums of issued investment loans fell to share of resources of international financial organizations, 280 billion soums – Fund for Development and Reconstruction of Uzbekistan, 198 billion soums – own resources of the banks and others.

Uzpromstroybank issued 195 billion soums of loans to 720 small businesses in the first quarter of 2015, which rose by 1.3 times compared to the same period of 2014. About 482 businesses received 22 billion soums of microloans.

The bank also allocated 15 billion soums to development of businesses of women and 2.7 billion soums to graduates of colleges to start their own business.

Uzpromstroybank also finances production of non-food and food consumer goods. The bank issued 29 billion soums to development of production of food products, including 2 billion soums – to purchase equipment, 25 billion soums – to purchase raw materials and materials and 1.4 billion soums – to organize 50 greenhouses.

The bank directed 47 billion soums of loans to expand production of non-food consumer goods, including 5 billion soums to purchase equipment and 39 billion soums – to buy raw materials and materials.
