The bank said that the Bank’s Council adopted decision on placing another emission of shares for 24.2 billion soums to raise charter capital of Uzpromstroybank.
Assets of Uzpromstroybank reached almost 2 trillion soums or grew by 21.1% year-on-year. Main share of assets or 71.2% makes up credit investments, the volume of which increased by 14.1%.
Uzpromstroybank is actively attracting free resources of individuals and legal entities to deposits to increase resource potential. The share of deposits made up 51.5% in the bank’s resources.
In order to strengthen resource bases, liquidity and sustainability of the bank, Uzpromstroybank introduces new types of banking services. The bank also issued long-term bonds for 10 billion soums.
The bank also issued deposit certificates for legal entities for 22 billion soums with circulation term from 6 months to 36 months. The bank said it placed half of them.
One of priorities of the bank is financing investment projects directed at modernization, technical and technological update of production capacities. Shares of investment loans in 2010 grew from 71% to 76%.
As of 1 January 2011, total volume of investment loans made up 1.018 trillion soums as of 1 January 2011. The bank issued over 410 billion soums of loans for investment purposes in 2010.
In 2010, the bank paid great attention to financial support of small and private businesses, creation of new jobs and employment of population. In 2010, small businesses received loans for 228.1 billion soums, which helped to create 5,710 new jobs.
Uzpromstroybank continued to cooperate with international financial institutions, attracting credit lines of foreign banks to develop small businesses.
The bank said it issued loans for US$4.4 million and 1.1 million euros due to foreign credit lines for development of small businesses.
Uzpromstroybank paid special attention to crediting young families in 2010, which was announced as the Year of Harmonically Developed Generation. In 2010, the bank issued loans for 24.4 billion soums. At the same time, young families received 253 mortgage loans for 10.1 billion soums and 953 consumer credits for 6.1 billion soums, as well as 642 microloans for 8.3 billion soums.
Uzpromstroybank is continuing to issue VISA banking payment cards to stimulate development of the system of cashless payment. As of 1 January 2011, the bank issued 836,100 banking payment cards and installed 4,200 POS-terminals. In 2010, the turnover of banking payments cards made up 363.5 billion soums, including – 325.9 billion soums were carried out through trade points and 37.6 billion soums – through bank’s service points.
