Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Afghanistan has lowered the fees and charges imposed on Uzbek national carriers, according to the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.
As a result of negotiations with the Afghan side, the fee for Uzbek drivers in the country has been reduced by 6,500 afghanis (approximately US$99).
The toll for crossing the Amudarya Bridge has been decreased from 12,000 afghanis (around US$182) to 7,000 afghanis (about US$106) effective from September 28, 2024.
Additionally, the fee for entry of freight vehicles into Afghanistan has also been reduced, from 5,000 afghanis (approximately US$76) to 3,500 afghanis (around US$53).
