1. The three-match suspension of Qatari player Andres Quintana (Soria) has been maintained. The Qatari Football Association had requested for lifting of the ban, which was affirmed by the AFC Appeals Committee in October 2007. The ban related to violent conduct during an AFC Asian Cup match in 2007.
2. Al Tilal (Yemen) head coach Sami Al Nash has been fined USD 1000 for not attending the post-match press conference after the Tilal vs Al Ahed (Lebanon)match in the AFC Cup on 21.4.09.
3. Neftchi (Uzbekistan) head coach Yuri Sarkisyan has been fined USD 1000 for behaviour unbecoming of a team official for an incident after the Neftchi versus Busaiteen (Bahrain) match in the AFC Cup on 7.4.09.
4. UAE’s Al Sharjah have been fined found guilty of fielding an ineligible player Abdelaziz Mohamed Al Mazam during the team’s AFC Champions League match against Al Shabab of Saudi Arabia on 8.4.09. Thus, Al Sharjah have been fined USD 4000 and the match has been awarded to Al Shabab 3-0.
5. Syria’s Al Maged have been found guilty of fielding an ineligible player (Khaled Mansour Al Baba) in four matches (vs Al Faisaly (JOR) on 7.4.09 and 21.4.09, vs. Dempo SC (IND) on 5.5.09, vs Muharraq (BHR) on 19.5.09) of the AFC Cup. All these matches have been awarded 3-0 to the teams who played against Al Maged and the club has been fined USD 4000 for every match. The player was ineligible because he was registered by the club outside the recognised window(s) for registration as provided for by FIFA and AFC.
6. Iraq’s Al Zawra’a have been fined USD 5000 for not fulfilling their duties as a ’host club’ during their AFC Cup match against Al Suwaiq of Oman on 7.4.09.
7. Bahrain’s Busaiteen have been fined USD 5000 for not fulfilling their media obligations during their AFC Cup match against Al Ahed of Lebanon on 17.3.09. The club failed to register a ’Club media officer’ as is mandatory according to the regulations.
8. Saudi Arabia’s Al Shabab have been fined USD 1000 for not fulfilling their media obligations during their AFC Champions League match against Sharjah of UAE on 21.04.09. No player from the club attended the pre-match press conference.
9. Saudi Arabia’s Ettifaq have been fined USD 1000 for allowing unaccredited individuals into the official area.
10. The China FA has been fined USD 3000 for failure to control the spectators and unruly behaviour by the spectators during the Shanghai Shenhua (China) versus Kashima Antlers (Japan) match in the AFC Champions League on 19.5.09, and the Tianjin Teda (China) versus Kawasaki Frontale (Japan) match in the same tournament on 5.5.09.
11. The Syrian FA has been fined USD 5000 for failure to control the spectators during the match between Al Maged (Syria) versus Muharraq (Bahrain) in the AFC Cup on 17.3.09.
