AFC Champions League: Locomotive loses to Al-Nasr
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Locomotive Tashkent suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hand of Al Nasr of the United Arab Emirates in the AFC Champions League play-offs and cannot book its place in Group Stage.

The match was held in the UAE and the winner should be decided only in one match. Tashkent club actively started the game and created several chances, but Al-Nasr bagged the opening goal.

Locomotive defenders made a mistake at creation of offside and Morimoto used his chance to open the score in the match. Locomotive continued to attack, but failed to convert its chances into goals.

In the second time, Locomotive coaches made several changes and in the result Victor Karpenko netted equalizer from 23 meter shot on 72 minutes. Six minutes later, Akmal Holmatov bagged the second goal of the match from free-kick.

On 79 minutes, Al Nasr used another mistake of denuders of Tashkent club and Habib Fardan scored the equalizer. In the end of the match, Japanese referee pointed to penalty mark and Al Nasr’s Lima netted the winner.

Uzbekistan now will be represented by two clubs – Pakhtakor and Bunyodkor – at the AFC Champions League in new season.
