AeroSvit opens flight from Kyiv to Samarkand
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ukrainian airline AeroSvit intends to open regular flights between Kyiv and Samarkand (Uzbekistan) from 5 July 2011.

The flights to Samarkand will be conducted on Tuesdays. The press service of the airline says that the flight duration is 4.5 hous.

As reported earlier, AeroSvit launched flight from Kyiv to Tashkent in October 2010.

AeroSvit is one of the largest passenger airline companies in Ukraine. It presently operates on more than 50 international routes. AeroSvit has in its operation 13 Boeings 737, and three Boeings 767.

AeroSvit is owned by Dutch Gilward Investments B.V. (38%), State Property Fund of Ukraine (22.4%), GenAvia-Invest (24.99%), Investment Advisors Group (9.8%) and Byuro (4,8%).
