Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Sanjar Valiev, director of the Information and Analytical Center for International Relations (ACIR), expressed his opinion on the development of relations between Uzbekistan and China during the first session of the Uzbek-Chinese international conference.

Valiev noted that the transition from simple trade and economic ties to a complex multidimensional model of interconnectedness indicates the evolution of relations between countries and opens up new prospects for the implementation of large-scale projects and long-term plans.

In his opinion, the establishment of an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership represents a significant step in the development of relations and promotes economic growth, as well as ensures joint counteraction to threats and challenges.

The expert emphasized that the demand for this level of partnership is due to both Central Asian and international processes, as well as the economic prospects of both countries.

The advanced cooperation agreed upon by the President of Uzbekistan and the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China testifies to the desire of both countries to create a safe space of stability and prosperity, he emphasized.
