Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Uzbekistan, admission of applications to the first grades of general education schools for the 2024/2025 academic year will begin on 20 June, according to the press service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

The admission process will take place in two stages. The first stage will last from 20 June to 31 July, during which applications will be accepted at schools within the microdistrict.

The second stage will take place from 1 to 15 August, and during this period applications will be accepted at schools outside the microdistrict.

The application process is carried out through electronic government services. To register and submit an application, it is necessary to visit the website my.maktab.uz.

This year, children born before 31 December 2017, will be admitted to the first grade.
