Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On the approval of certain regulatory legal documents related to the support of the media and the development of the field of journalism" was adopted, Norma reports.

The document approves a number of documents. This:

Regulations on the procedure for organizing and holding a competition for the best television and radio project designed for children.

The document provides funding for 30 best projects. The competition for funds will be held annually in July-August;

Regulations on the procedure for organizing and holding a competition for the best material published in the media.

For the first place, the reward is 50 sizes of basic estimated value, 40 sizes of basic estimated value for the second and 30 sizes of basic estimated value for the third place;

Regulations on the procedure for compensating media employees for the costs of teaching foreign languages and passing exams for obtaining national and international certificates in foreign languages.

The document envisages the payment of compensation to media workers who have worked for at least 1 year for training and passing exams in foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese). The amount of compensation is 50% of the costs, but not more than 15 BRF. To receive compensation, the employee must obtain a B2 level certificate or higher;

Regulations on the procedure for compensating the costs of electronic subscription of individuals to periodicals, books and other printed products, as well as periodicals.

A refund of 20% of the subscription cost is provided for when subscribing to children’s periodicals and in the amount of 10% for subscribing to other publications;

Temporary regulation on the procedure for reimbursement of costs for the creation (modernization) of modern electronic forms of periodicals, the founders of which are not state bodies and organizations.

The regulation establishes the norms for holding a competition to determine the 20 best projects.
