According to the ADB, the funds will be used to develop a government-public and government-business interface strategy and e-government applications, etc.

The Government of Uzbekistan adopted a decision on creation of single portal of interactive state services in December 2012.

Single portal will allow population and legal entities to submit applications directly to the state bodies. This should increase efficiency of interaction, decrease red-tape and help to develop electronic government, as well as introduction of information technologies to public governance. The Government of Uzbekistan is planning to launch single portal by 1 July 2013.

The portal will be in Uzbek, Russian, English and other languages and users should register to use interactive services of the Government.

Through personal cabinet, the users can direct requests and applications to the Cabinet of Ministers and sate bodies. The users receive notification, when the requests or applications received. If requests or applications are denied, the users will get notification within one working day.

According to the decision of the government, the proposals will be considered within a month, except those proposals, which will require more time for discussion. The users will be notified within 10 days if the proposal requires more time for consideration.

Applications and complaints will be also considered within a month. Applications and complaints, which do not require additional inspection and study, will get response in 15 days. The responses can be send both in electronic and paper form.

If the body, which received request, is not authorized to consider application, it will be directed to corresponding body within five days and the users will be informed about it. No discrimination is allowed at receiving and consideration of applications or requests.
