Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The International Exhibition Fashion Style Russia is being held in Moscow on 19-22 February.

About 20 enterprises that are members of the Uzcharmsanoat association are participating in it with a collective stand Made in Uzbekistan. Uzbek enterprises presented more than 100 types of leather, shoes, leather goods, leather goods and fur to the attention of foreign exhibitors.

The delegation of the Uzcharmsanoat Association took part in the business forum, which began its work on the first day of the exhibition. In it, the delegation of the Association told participants about the reforms carried out in the leather and footwear industry of our country in recent years, about production, investment and export indicators, about the work to promote products under the “Made in Uzbekistan” label in international markets, about cooperation with foreign brands .

The international exhibition has once again proven itself to be an effective platform for establishing business connections and forming a portfolio of new buyers. In particular, Ulkan Laziz LLC held negotiations with a number of Russian enterprises, such as Diwali, Profi and Shoe Technologies. As a result, an agreement was reached with the Diwali company on the supply of finished leather for the production of belts. The total amount of the contract is 100 thousand dollars.

Profi plans to purchase leather and belts worth US$200,000 in Uzbekistan. And Shoe Technologies places an order with enterprises in our country for the production of 6 thousand pairs of shoe uppers. The contract value is estimated at 4 million rubles.

Also within the framework of the exhibition, several negotiations were held on the supply of astrakhan products to Russian retail chains and the export of footwear.
