Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Access for transport and accompanying people to Tashkent International Airport is temporarily limited due to the reconstruction of the airport terminal, the Uzbekistan Airports press-service said in a statement.
According to the company, construction work is currently underway at the airport to expand the existing terminal.
To ensure safety and prevent crowds of people near construction sites, some restrictions have been introduced.
In particular, a separate line has been installed for vehicles to pick up and drop off passengers near the international terminal parking lot.
Free travel and short-term parking on this line are limited to 10 minutes.
When parking for a longer period, the drivers must use the parking lot.
Access of accompanying people to the departure hall of the international airport is also temporarily limited. Exceptions are allowed for persons accompanying pregnant women, women with children, elderly people and people with disabilities. Those accompanying you must have an identification document with them.
