Average transaction sum from Russia to Uzbekistan comprised US$574, the Central Bank said in its statement.
The Russian bank said about US$229 million was transferred from Uzbekistan to Russia, while average sum per transactions made up US$1,382.
Uzbekistan leads on the volume of transactions among the CIS states. Tajikistan and Ukraine followed Uzbekistan. Tajikistan received remittances for US$1.724 billion and Ukraine – US$1.339 billion in the reporting period.
The Central Bank of Russia monitors such money transfer systems as Anelik, BLIZKO, Coinstar Money Transfer, Contact, InterExpress, Migom, MoneyGram, PrivatMoney, UNIStream, Western Union, AziyaExpress, ALLYUR, Blitz, Bystraya Pochta, Guta Sprint, Zolotaya Korona and LIDER, as well as Pochta Rossii.
