The statement said that some 486,100 of jobs or 62.9% from total number were created in the rural areas of Uzbekistan.
Due to launch of new enterprises, expansion and reconstruction of existing capacities, some 45,600 new jobs were created. Launch of new small business and microfirms helped to create 281,000 new jobs. Development of individual entrepreneurship allowed to create 88,000 new jobs.
The report said about 45,000 new jobs were created at production and social infrastructure objects, 183,400 – due to development of out-work, 105,500 in agriculture sector. Rehabilitation of inactive enterprises and development of market infrastructure created 24,500 jobs.
According to preliminary data, the growth of total income of population made up 24.6% year-on-year. Average month salary rose by 18.9%.
