About 7,400 houses to be commissioned in rural areas of Uzbekistan in 2011
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to commission 7,400 houses on standard projects with total area of 815.95 hectares in rural areas by the third quarter of 2011.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On additional measures on improving designing and housing construction in rural areas”.

The document approved parameters of individual houses construction parameters in rural areas on standard projects under turnkey bases for 2011 with attraction of preferential mortgage loans of Qishloq Qurilish Bank.

The resolution said the decision on allocation of lands for construction of individual houses in rural areas was adopted. It added that 0.06 hectares is allocated to each house.

The document banned allocation of agriculture and forest lands, and lands close to agriculture and tilled areas.

Uzbek leader also approved main parameters of construction of external engineering and transport communication objects to the constructed houses in 2011. The document said, 179.21 km of gas pipeline, 167.02 km of electricity and 236.7 km of water networks, as well as 147.78 km roads will be laid.

It is also planned to construct 473 social and market infrastructure. In particular, 127 trade complexes, 71 service complexes, 71 children sport objects, 32 mini-banks, and others will be built in 2011.
