About 610 more Class A Volkswagen Caddy cars to be handed over to ambulance

In particular, the ongoing large-scale measures to provide the system with modern vehicles of the latest generation, with all the amenities, can save the lives of many people in emergency situations.

If we turn to the figures, then only in January of this year, the depot of the Republican Ambulance Center was replenished with 110 domestically produced Volkswagen Caddy cars. Also in March, another batch of 117 such vehicles assembled by Jizzakh Auto was distributed to the regions.

And today another 50 class A Volkswagen Caddy cars were sent to the ambulance stations of the Kashkadarya and Khorezm regional health departments.

In world practice, the service life of ambulance vehicles is 5-8 years, says Abduvoitjon Gafurov, director of the Republican Emergency Medical Center. - Our country also provides for the renewal of machines that have been in operation for more than 8 years.

Based on this, measures are being taken to gradually replace obsolete ambulance cars with new, modern vehicles. And today's event is a practical reflection of the implementation of these measures. By the end of the year, it is planned to transfer another 610 such vehicles to the regions.
