The Depository said 1,275 joint-stock companies were founded on the base of state enterprises. They issued 2.066 billion shares. Their authorized capital comprised 3.053 trillion soums.

Number of joint-stock companies, created voluntarily, was 446 and they issued 1.545 billion shares. Their authorized capital comprised 1.209 trillion soums.

Among the public companies are also 31 commercial banks, which issued 1.254 billion shares. The charter capital of the banks was 620.424 billion soums.

Investment funds’ number, registered as joint-stock companies, made up seven. They issued 5.3 million shares and their charter capital was 621.9 billion soums.
