About 100 children to be educated at Real Madrid Academy in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The first academy of Real Madrid in Central Asia will be created in Tashkent, Carlos Escudero de Burón, trustee of Real Madrid Foundation said Monday, 24 October.

Carlos Escudero de Burón said that the Real Madrid delegation help talks with the President of Uzbekistan Football Federation Mirabrar Usmanov. He said that the sides discussed several issues of opening Real Madrid Academy in Tashkent. He added that the Real delegation arrived in Tashkent for this purpose.

He said that soon the contract between Uzbekistan and Real Madrid on launch of academy will be signed. He added that currently, Real Madrid has over 167 academies in 55 countries. Over 30,000 children receive football education. He said that one of such academies will be created in Uzbekistan and it will become the first in Central Asia.

Real Madrid representative said that it is important for club interest of the country to create academy. “We studied wide range of issues related to football and Uzbekistan overall. I think it is ideal place to create Real Madrid academy”, he added.

Carlos Escudero de Burón said that the final document will be signed and all issues related to the academy will be solved. He added that Real specialists will work at Academy. He said that Real Madrid will send specialist, who will determine directions of work.

Real Madrid representative said that at least 100 boys and girls will study at the academy in Tashkent. The academy will accept children at the age of between 8 and 16. He said that the academy players will participate at tournaments and once a year they will visit Madrid and meet Real stars.

Carlos Escudero de Burón stated that education at the academy will be free and paid. He added that classes with paid education will help to finance education of children with low income families. He said that overall, everything will depend on local sponsors. He noted that the education could be free.
