Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held in Brussels between the Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for foreign policy, Abdulaziz Kamilov, and the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.

The parties discussed issues of further development of relations between Uzbekistan and the European Union in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Intensification of cooperation was noted, close contacts are maintained at all levels.

The parties confirmed their readiness to further promote bilateral ties and exchanged views on current international and regional issues.
