Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An aircraft of the Australian airline Qantas Airways was forced to interrupt the flight and made an emergency landing in Baku due to smoke in the cargo compartment, TASS reported.
The A380 (numbered VH-OQH) was flying QF1 on the Singapore-London route. The crew declared an emergency due to smoke in the cargo hold during the flight over the territory of Georgia.
The airline’s Airbus A380, en route from Singapore to London, requested an emergency landing at the Baku airport due to smoke in the cargo hold. The aircraft landed safely at 07:08 Baku time (06:08 Moscow time), no one was injured. There were 356 passengers on board the ship.
