Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Tashkent, a 20-year-old young man, while in the courtyard of the internal affairs department, inflicted wounds on himself with a blade. The press service of the main department of internal affairs of the capital provided clarification on this case.

As it turned out, on 25 March, law enforcement agencies detained 7 people who took part in a brawl on the street. During the preparation of documents, they actively resisted, and some of them were under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Administrative protocols were drawn up against them under Articles 184 (Petty hooliganism) and 194 (Failure to comply with the legal requirements of an internal affairs officer).

The next day, one of the participants in the brawl was summoned to the internal affairs department to testify in court. The young man, who previously had a criminal record, suddenly took out a blade during the conversation and caused wounds to himself in the abdomen and arms in front of the eyes of law enforcement officers.

Law enforcement officers restrained the guy and gave him first aid. The case is now being handled by the district prosecutor’s office.
