In particular, last year production in the industry increased by 4.1% and amounted to 426 trillion soums. Exports reached almost US$2 billion. About 152,000 hectares of orchards and vineyards have been laid out.

This year, for the first time, 3 million 700 thousand tons of cotton and 8 million tons of grain were harvested. Such numbers have never been seen in our recent history.
