Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A HOWO truck damaged a railway bridge in Jizzakh region. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari.

The company’s statement notes that the railway bridge, located between Zaamin district and the city of Jizzakh on the 3597th kilometer of the Jizzakh-Saykhun section, was damaged by a HOWO truck passing under it, which demolished one of the bridge beams on its side.

The driver of the truck stopped immediately after the incident. To resolve the situation, special services and responsible persons were sent to the site. For safety reasons and restoration work, this railway bridge was closed for a while.

Experts quickly began to restore the damaged bridge beam. At the moment, all restoration work has been completed, and trains have resumed their service on this section.
