Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution authorizing the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations to conclude a contract for the design and construction of a shopping center in the Turkmen-Uzbek border zone of Dashoguz region. This was reported by the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

According to the state news agency "Turkmenistan Today", construction will begin in July 2023 in accordance with the intergovernmental agreement signed on 5 October 2021 on the creation and regulation of the activities of the Turkmen-Uzbek border trade zone - a shopping center

The shopping center should be commissioned with full readiness for operation in July 2025.
