Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Japanese agency Kyodo News conducted a survey on the holding of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

23.9 percent of those polled are in favor of hosting the Olympic Games in Tokyo. 36.4 percent believe that the Olympics need to be postponed again, since in a year the situation with the coronavirus may not stabilize.

33.7 percent were in favor of canceling the Olympics - in their opinion, the Japanese government should spend more on the fight against coronavirus, and not on sports events.

The Tokyo Olympics were supposed to be held from 24 July to 9 August 2020, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tournament was postponed to the same dates in 2021.
