Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An Electro tariff has appeared in the Yandex Go application, when selected, only electric cars will be delivered to order.

The service plans to actively develop this segment, stimulating partner fleets to increase the number of such vehicles.

Users will have access to modern and spacious electric vehicles from the brands BYD, Dongfeng, Hongqi, Aion, Volkswagen, etc.

Drivers who accept orders in this tariff are highly rated and have undergone additional training, including standards of communication with passengers, dress code and safety rules on the road.

The cost of trips starts from 15,000 soums. For example, a trip from the Alai market to the Tashkent City Mall will cost approximately 25,000 soums.

“A separate tariff provides residents of Tashkent with the opportunity to switch to more environmentally friendly modes of transport, which, in turn, will reduce the negative impact on the environment. Moreover, electric transport improves the quality of city life, promotes infrastructure development and attracts investment in the energy sector,” says Director of Development of Yandex Go in the CIS Kirill Svintsov.
