Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A special state institution will be created in Tashkent, which will build multi-storey car parks and transfer them to entrepreneurs as ready-made business.

Parking lots will be built at the expense of the state budget (the overfulfilled revenue part of the republican and local budgets in equal shares) or on the basis of a public-private partnership with direct allocation of land plots, and then sold as a ready-made business to business entities with the condition that the parking profile be preserved.

The document instructs to develop a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers within a month, which will approve the procedure for the construction of such multi-storey car parks.

It is expected that multi-storey car parks will be put up for online auction with a starting price of 10% of the cost of the object.

At the first stage, it is planned to build at least four such parking lots in places of accumulation of vehicles, the document says.
