Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The total area of the station built by Uzbekenergotamir JSC is 1 hectare, on which more than 1,500 monocrystalline solar panels are installed, the press service of the Ministry of Energy reports.

After commissioning, the station will produce 1.8 million kWh of electricity per year.

As a result, 400,000 cubic meters of natural gas per year will be saved.

Thus, the total capacity of solar panels installed at the enterprises of the Thermal Power Plants JSC system reached 9.6 MW. By the end of this year, it is planned to increase this figure to 15 MW.
