Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A solar photovoltaic plant with a capacity of 1.3 MW was put into operation at the Syrdarya TPP.

The project operates in the "On-Grid" mode and will generate an additional 2.3 million kWh of electricity and save 750,000 cubic meters of natural gas per year.

As a result, it will be possible to save fuel resources and reduce the emission of harmful gases into the atmosphere.

Currently, a solar photovoltaic plant produces an average of 800 kWh of electricity, depending on solar radiation.

The project was implemented in order to ensure the execution of the instructions of our President, given to expand the number of alternative energy sources.
