Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Presidential Resolution “On measures to further develop the field of cinematography and create a series of films dedicated to the history of the country” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, in order to develop the field of cinematography at a new level, to support the production of a series of films reflecting more than three thousand years of history of national statehood, the scientific, cultural and spiritual heritage of the great ancestors, the Program for creating a series of films “Living History” was approved in 2024 -2027.

The program provides an impartial and objective reflection of the life path of great statesmen and commanders who devoted themselves to the struggle for the freedom and well-being of the Motherland.

Also, the following will be created:

National Commission for the Development and Support of Cinematography (National Commission);

National Council for Promoting the Improvement of the Ideological and Artistic Level of Films (National Council).

As part of the Living History program:

- competitions will be held to prepare film projects for film production, and the best film projects will be selected;

- film companies for the production of films in accordance with film projects will be determined on the basis of a competition (pitching) in the form of a presentation.
