Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 29 September, a working meeting was held in videoconferencing between the General Director of Rudgormash Management Company LLC Anatoly Chekmenev and the Director of the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, organized with the support of the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.

The Rudgormash plant is the largest Russian specialized enterprise for the production of drilling, mining and processing equipment, which is involved in mining enterprises in almost all technological processes of deposit development and mineral processing, reports the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Uzbekistan.

Currently, the company is considering the possibility of localizing the production of drilling rigs on the territory of Uzbekistan to meet the demand for these products of such industrial giants as Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC and Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine JSC.

The company’s next step is to select a site on the territory of one of the free economic zones of the republic to locate future production.
