Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 16 May, a round table was held at the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade on the topic “Problems arising in the export of construction materials.”

The event was attended by Minister Laziz Kudratov, employees of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the leadership of the Uzpromstroymaterialy Association, as well as the heads of about 100 enterprises involved in the production and export of construction materials from all regions of the country.

During an open dialogue, systemic and individual problems arising in the process of production and export activities were discussed. In particular, issues of stimulating product exports, diversifying foreign markets and supporting domestic enterprises were considered.

More than 20 new proposals and initiatives put forward by industry entrepreneurs were analyzed.

As a result of the round table, the relevant leaders were given instructions to formulate a “Road Map” to resolve, together with the relevant departments, the problematic issues raised, defining specific deadlines for their implementation.
