Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel, an online round table "New Uzbekistan: the path of reforms" was held, Dunyo news agency reported.

The event was attended by a member of the CEC of Uzbekistan Gulnoza Ismailova, experts from the Center for Economic Research, the Institute for Advanced International Studies, the leadership of the Jerusalem Institute of Strategy and Security, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and expert and analytical circles of Israel.

During the round table, information was provided on political and economic reforms in Uzbekistan, in particular on the implementation of the updated version of the Constitution and the upcoming early presidential elections.

Also, Israeli experts were informed about the foreign policy activity of Uzbekistan over the recent period.

A discussion took place on topical issues on the agenda of modern Uzbekistan.
