Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation led by the authorized representative of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation Igor Maslov, currently in Uzbekistan, visited the branch of the National Research University “MPEI” in Tashkent.

They got acquainted with the conditions and opportunities created for students and teachers of the university.

The guests visited the branch’s classrooms, laboratories, an assembly hall with 400 seats, and a sports hall. Issues of developing science, increasing joint projects and holding the 4th Russian-Uzbek Forum of University Rectors were discussed.

As a result of the conversation, it was decided that it was necessary to improve the activities of the branch, take measures aimed at revealing the talents of students, as well as develop roadmaps aimed at implementing joint projects.

The guests also took part in planting tree seedlings on the territory of the branch as part of the national project “Yashil Makon”, making their contribution to greening the environment.
