Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The international agricultural exhibition Green Week 2025 is currently taking place in Berlin, Germany, where a panel discussion was held on the creation of a "Regional Center for Sustainable Soil Science" in Central Asia and Germany.

Representatives from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany participated in the meeting.

During the discussion, it was agreed that the establishment of the "Regional Center for Sustainable Soil Science" will take into account the climatic conditions, soil composition, and geographical characteristics of Central Asian countries.

Additionally, a conversation was held with Ofelia Nick, the Parliamentary Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture of Germany.

The discussions led to agreements on matters related to obtaining the necessary permits and certificates for exporting veterinary drugs from Uzbekistan to Germany, sending Uzbek students to further training courses in veterinary science, and establishing cooperation in aquaculture to increase fish production.
