Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A ranking system for insurance companies is being implemented in Uzbekistan, developed in accordance with the decree of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This was stated by the press service of the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP).

The goal of the new ranking is to help consumers choose reliable insurance organizations.

The evaluation considers the quality of services provided, the financial stability of companies, compliance with legislation, and the timeliness of payments.

To compile the ranking, 19 key indicators are used, including the processing of insurance claims, international ratings, financial stability, the introduction of innovative products, and potential violations of legislation.

The ranking will be updated monthly (by the 10th) and posted on the official NAPP website, which will help make the insurance services market more transparent and increase its competitiveness.

The document, approved by the NAPP director on 25 December 2024, was registered by the Ministry of Justice on 20 January 2025. The regulation will come into effect after its official publication.
