Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation of the investment potential of Uzbekistan, organized jointly with the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, took place in Kuala Lumpur, Dunyo news agency reported.

The event was attended by representatives of Malaysian companies.

During the presentation, participants were provided with detailed information about measures to support national economic development, the opportunities created for foreign investors in Uzbekistan, their legal protection, as well as the country’s investment potential.

The construction of promising cooperation and the implementation of joint projects with the participation of Malaysian capital in Uzbekistan were discussed during the event.

Representatives of Malaysian companies such as Medisafe Technologies, Hightech Geodigital Sdn Bhd and cafeteria chain Richiamo Coffee have expressed interest in exploring work opportunities in Uzbekistan.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on the broad participation of Malaysian companies in various events, including the Uzbek-Malaysian business forum, business forum in Uzbekistan, online meetings of Uzbek and Malaysian companies, as well as presentations of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur.
