Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A pregnant woman died in a hospital in Akhangaran (Tashkent region). The Ministry of Health commented on the circumstances of the incident.

On the night of 3 April, a 32-year-old woman, 39 weeks pregnant, came to the maternity ward of a local hospital, complaining of abdominal and back pain. Doctors diagnosed her with third-degree obesity.

At 14:10 on the same day, her condition deteriorated sharply, she began to experience difficulty breathing due to pain in the heart area. The patient was transferred to the intensive care unit, where she received emergency medical care. However, despite the efforts of doctors, the woman died.

According to preliminary data from the forensic medical examination, the cause of death was coronary heart disease, acute coronary insufficiency, hypertrophy of the heart muscle and acute myocardial infarction.

Law enforcement agencies began an investigation into this incident.
