Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A woman who was 32 weeks pregnant died in the Yangiyul maternity hospital in Tashkent region.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic medical examination, the cause of death was rupture of the splenic artery and intestinal vessels due to complications of neurofibromatosis (Recklinghausen syndrome).

The patient sought medical attention with suspected risk of preterm labor and was treated and examined.

However, after the onset of nausea and vomiting, her condition worsened and, despite the efforts of doctors, she died.

Law enforcement agencies are investigating this situation.
